Green Credentials

Reclaimed slate are the only option when considering the products green credentials. Be aware of Chinese slate being sold under different names to disguise their origin. Chinese slate also produce a huge carbon footprint used in the mining process and shipping needed to reach our shores.

All Slates Ltd typically salvage slate from within a 100 mile radius of our site in Cheshire and not a 12,000 mile journey from China, making Chinese slate difficult to justify when considering their impact on the environment and any green claims there may be.
